The intention of the 3rd International Conference on Road and Rail Infrastructure – CETRA 2014 is to bring together scientists and experts in the fields of road and railway engineering, and give them one more opportunity to present the results of their research, findings and innovations. The development of a society, particularly its economic development, is presently unthinkable without a developed transportation infrastructure, roads and railways in particular. The conference will be an opportunity for scientists and experts in the field of roads and railways to analyze problems encountered in everyday engineering practice and to offer possible solutions for a more efficient planning, design, construction and maintenance in these areas.
The organizers intention is to have all published papers indexed in the SCOPUS and Web of Knowledge databases in order to achieve greater recognition for the conference itself, published papers, and their authors. The procedure has already been initiated and will hopefully have a positive outcome.
