PhD Session
This special session is organized to encourage PhD students to present their work to colleagues from the scientific and professional sectors. It provides an excellent opportunity for students to share their research ideas and methodologies with other students, to receive comments from experts from other fields of research, and to connect to a network that can be of great help to their profession. Session chairmen will be carefully selected to provide students support, guidance and advice in their research efforts.
Each participating student is required to:
- Submit an abstract in session SS1 – PhD Session
- Submit an Extended Abstract with no more than 4 pages
- provide an oral presentation in short form (5 min).
The best paper will be selected to receive Ph.D. Special Session Award.
Submission information
Following the abstract acceptance, all submissions for this session should include an extend abstract limited to 4 pages, formatted using CETRA 2024 template for papers, describing the research conducted so far by the student and outlining the research prospects for the near future. A full-paper submission is not required for participating at the session. The main selection criteria for the PhD Special Session Award will be:
- relevance of the topic
- significance of the original contribution(s)
- quality of the written and oral presentations
